I Hope They Understand

I have a big passion for fashion, yes I do.. My Mom always tell me that i have that 'gift' since I was a child that I'm good at mix and match clothes. So I did it, I decide to alter my passion by creating a clothing line named Such! I know that this business that I built still brand new, or maybe a baby. But alhamdulillah it is well-welcomed by the customers. I'm truly blessed. And making this passion into real thing is not just happen in a blink. I put many efforts and quite sacrifice several things. And this morning, a very nice friend of mine in Facebook give me a link to another OL shop in Facebook and she wondered whether I pointed this shop as my reseller, and this is what I saw.

Closer look

Okay.. its obvious that it was me in that picture, of course.. because I remember when I did the photoshoot, tt happens that this shop took the picture from Such!. There are few things that make me unhappy with it:

1. They took this picture without permission (of course)
2. They use this picture for commercial purpose, which they 'said' that they sell this kind of veil vest, and they mentioned its PO (pre-order)
3. They make people think that I chose them as my reseller for this product (which is not, because I don't resold my clothing except for Pashmina and Inner scarf).

I was pissed off when I found out this, because you know what? There are few things that you need to know before you took somebody's artwork.

1. Every artwork that someone's created, have background story that very memorable (happy or sad story)
2. Every artwork that someone's created worth a lot of times, thoughts, joy, tears and ups&downs.
3. Me personally, I have to be apart from my husband during this project, and actually it hurts knowing that I can't be with him for a couple of weeks to have this project done        

Please, think twice, hundreds, thousand times before you hi-jacked someone's artwork to be used for your own purpose (commercially). Because we never know story behind it, and how is that person treated that artwork in their life. I don't mean to over reacted towards this, and I also don't expect that people will stop hi-jacking after they read my post. But at least I hope they will understand, why someone's can be so irritated and mad when it happens to them.. including me.

Sushi, Sushi and more Sushi

Another posting about sushi.. goosh I don't know why but I love this food so so much. Plus, here in Malaysia..they got the best sushi in town.. Sushi Zanmai! Yesterday, I went out with Nadya (Hijabers Community's committee who also lives here) and we had sushi.. again.. And she bought Such! Wide Leg Pants which she directly wore it right away! ahahaha..

Black Pepper Crab

Well actually its a bit failure of me making "Black Pepper Crab" because what happen the sauce was too much and not as hot as I expected. But it was taste so good though, here I share to you the recipe okay?!

Ingredients:

1. Crab (I use 4 crabs for this menu), you can buy it in the supermarket and let the server clean the crab for you. 
2. 2 Onions
3. 6-7 Garlic (smashed and minced them)
4. 4-5 Chili 
5. Ginger
6. Black pepper
7. Sweet Soy sauce
8. Oyster Sauce
9. English Soy (kecap inggris)
10. Sugar
11. Salt

How to cook:

• First, cook the crab in boiled water until it turns red. Put aside, but don't ditch the water. 
• Deep fried the crab in hot oil, and not too long! Put aside
• Heat oil over low heat and add chili, onions, ginger and garlic
• After the onion and garlic turns yellow and smells good, add 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 2 tablespoon English Soy and 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Add crab's water stock from the previous boiling. 
• Add salt and sugar until the taste is perfect, then add black pepper and stir fry it.
• After its cooked well, add the crab into the sauce then stir fry it carefully until it blends perfectly
• Serve it for our loved ones, or your family... 
• Good luck!

Yesterday, May 4th 2011 was my parents 25th wedding anniversary..subhanallah.. Its been 25 years of them been together and alhamdulillah my parents succeeded in raising their children. Me, my sister and my brother..and now, they got new son.. my husband.. alhamdulillah.. Can't stop thanking them for every step, every love, every word, every thing that they have taught us to be like us now. Hopefully my marriage may always be like their's.. amiin amiin ya robbal alamin.. And last night I found my parent's wedding picture.. hihihi.. my mom is sooo beautiful.. and my wedding was inspired by my parents wedding.. See with yourself.. :)

Yesterday I met my best friends Aryn and Dhian. Let me tell you a short profile of my bestfriend. Aryn, is a sport news tv anchor for one of public TV station in Indonesia. Dhian, work in a public university (business school) in Jakarta. We've been best friend since we're in high school and it always such a great time every time we hang out! and yesterday was not an exception.

Last Sunday I met the top 15, maybe you already know from Such! blog, because I've already posted some pictures from our meeting.
