This is Not Just Friendship

Assalamualaikum Beautiful,

Rasanya hampir seluruh dunia tau (halah lebay), kalo aku punya "geng" (is that what you called it?), well sebenernya bukan geng, lebih kepada perkumpulan (kesannya gimana banget).. yaa pokonya sekumpulan teman teman who have a lot of things in common. First, we met at 2011.. Blog yang menyatukan kita, kita saling sapa awalnya dengan leave comments di blog.. after that, twitter.. after that, we create a group di BBM namanya "Blomer" or Blogger Married.. Simpel sih alasannya, kami sama sama blogger dan sudah menikah. And most of us menikah di tahun yang sama yaitu tahun 2010. After our first meeting, berlanjutlah kongkow kongkow lainnya.. Sampai sekarang.. we still have to spare at least a day in a week for us to meet. Apa ya, bukan ngejar kongkow kongkow or hangout nya aja.. tapi lebih kepada our quality time, our me time disela sela kesibukan kami masing2.. dan tiap kali ketemu mereka, udahannya berasa aja gitu seneng.. fresh.. dan tentunya dapat ilmu baru.. Alhamdulillah...

So kemarin waktu libur, we decided to hang out at Etu's new house.. Biasanya kami kalo kumpul di rumah salah satu diantara kami, we do the potluck thing.. meaning, each of us need to bring food to be serve with the other food that also brought by the other. Jad si tuan rumah cuma siapin alat alat makan dan nasinya saja. Well actually baru 2 kali sih kami ngumpul dirumah gini.. pertama tahun 2012 dirumahku.. sekarang, tahun 2014 dirumah Etu.. yes, we need 2 years! hahaha.. Paling seru kalo udah ngumpul dirumah tuh kami bawa keluarga masing masing. Alhamdulillah that our hubbies can get along very well juga.. begitu juga anak anak kami.. yang boleh dibilang sepantaran semua.. hehehe.. Yesterday, Fika bawa menu andalannya.. Mie aceh... ini sih yang ditunggu tunggu.. abis mie acehnya endeuss.. Trus tuan rumah bikin es buah yang super segerrrr.. enyaaakkk.. Aku sendiri, bawa sop daging ajuahh.. eh ama kue bugis deng.. Ola bawa capcay.. Siti bawa ayam kalio.. Rommy bawa es oyen.. Fitri bawa roti unyil karena kebetulan emang dia baru pulang dari bogor.. daaann we have new comer a.k.a guest star loohhh.. ada Puput Utami juga kemarin ikutan.. hehehe.. She's a goof friend of us, a blogger, but not married.. yet.. hopefully soon.. aamiin..

Well what can I say about our friendship.. that this is not just a friendship, but a biiiggg huugeee family I may say.. Kami berkomunikasi cukup intens via chat room.. we talk about a lot of things seperti keluarga, bisnis atau pekerjaan yang sedang dijalani, tentang tas dan sepatu, tentang penampilan, berbagi tips tentang banyak hal... dan kami open banget satu sama lain.. dan yang paling serunya, keluarga kita juga bisa ikutan deket juga (baca: suami suami). Biasanya kan suami suka males atau segan diajak kumpul kumpul seperti ini, but not with us.. seruu aja lah bawaannya..

Alhamdulillah that I have you guys.. Mudah2an pas Kara ke jakarta, kita bisa kumpul lagi kaya gini yaa.. it will be more complete.. I love you blomerkuuuuuu..

FIrst and Last

Assalamualaikum Beautiful, 

Have you ever known Ami? Ami Schaheera.. Malaysian blogger you have been fight for cancer for a long time.. A truly inspiration for muslimah around the world for her strength, her positive thoughts, her fashion senses, her style, her life. I've been following her instagram for the past 2 years or less, I love everything that she posted.. She fought her sickness with all the good things.. She lives healthy lives by consuming healthy food, and she always share it to us her followers. 

So happy that finally I got the chance to met her once I was travelled to KL with my husband and son. Jezmine, another friend of mine who also Malaysian Blogger and owner of Old Blossom Box who was kindly arrange our meet up. We met on March 18th at Sunway Pyramid Mal. We had sushi dinner that time. So happy that finally i can meet her in person, not only Ami.. but also Jezmine and Shea Rasol. We had a great night, nice chat, many laughs, and we share about many things. Well mostly about blogger world. I remember when we discussed about blogger agent, and how it can be so frustrating when we have to edited our post on our blog just because our client want something else to be written.. and then Ami said, "somehow it feels not sincere anymore". Well yes, blogging came from our idealism in term of share our thought, our style, our personal life (a lil bit) and everything seems to be sincere at the first time. But somehow. now when we start to have clients, we managed how to be stay sincere while also give the best to our clients. Well, our discussion that night was heavy.. and light also.. haha

As I went back to Jakarta, days later after that night.. I saw posting on Ami's instagram.. the picture was heartbreaking.. I nearly cried.. It was Ami's husband who was updated Ami's condition, and he ask for prayers for Ami since she was hard to breath that time. Astagfirullah.. Prayers goes out to her.. And days later, I received message from Jezmine said that Ami was critical and it was impossible for her to make it through. Ya Allah.. Astagfirullah..

Innalillahi wa inna illaihi rojiun.. 

Her battle is over, her sickness is relief.. She went back to Allah SWT among the righteous.. I never thought that it was our first meeting, and also the last.. Still can't believe.. I miss Ami's post on instagram, miss her positivity, she truly inspiration.. Rest well Ami, you'll be missed.. 

This photos was taken 8 days before Ami passed away.. it still give me goosebumps.. Allah have best plan for Ami.. We love Ami, but Allah love her more.. Bye Ami.. 

Me Time

Assalamualaikum Beautiful,

Seneng rasanya kalo kita sejenak bisa sedikit melupakan kegiatan sehari hari yang kadang bikin penat. Ketika udah bosan atau capek dengan rutinitas sehari hari, ada baiknya kalo kita meluangkan waktu sebentar untuk melakukan 'me time'. Me time disini maksudku tuh lebih kepada melakukan kegiatan diluar rutinitas kita yang melelahkan dan melakukan sesuatu yang menyenangkan. Emang sih namanya 'me time', tapi bukan berarti harus sendirian. Bisa juga kita ajak teman atau yaa happy happy sama temen temen kita.

Like what I did recently, I was sooo exhausted. Capek, penat, dull, you name it lah.. Kalo udah begitu terus dipaksain as if nothing happen and everything is alright, yang ada malah jadi keki sendiri.. sensi aja gitu bawaannya.. uring uringan.. Yaa biasa lah, kalo lagi gitu suka kadang kadang curhat colongan di social media. Ya walaupun curhatnya gak terang terangan, but somehow my friends notice and ask whether I'm okay or not. Aaahh, alhamdulillah I have friends that really understanding. Trus jadinya mereka ngajak ketemuan dan hang out. Ya sekedar makan siang bareng, ngobrol, ketawa ketawa, foto foto.. itu bisa bikin happy banget lohh.. So we went out.. Me, Etu (Restu Anggraini), Ka Lulu and Ola. Cuma janjian makan siang koq... trus dilanjutkan dengan karaoke.. It was really fun! walaupun cuma sebentar, tapi menurutku ya berkualitas aja gitu.. Tubuh dan pikiran seperti di charge... pulang ke rumah udah seger lagi deh.. :)

Another posting about sushi.. goosh I don't know why but I love this food so so much. Plus, here in Malaysia..they got the best sushi in town.. Sushi Zanmai! Yesterday, I went out with Nadya (Hijabers Community's committee who also lives here) and we had sushi.. again.. And she bought Such! Wide Leg Pants which she directly wore it right away! ahahaha..

Yesterday I met my best friends Aryn and Dhian. Let me tell you a short profile of my bestfriend. Aryn, is a sport news tv anchor for one of public TV station in Indonesia. Dhian, work in a public university (business school) in Jakarta. We've been best friend since we're in high school and it always such a great time every time we hang out! and yesterday was not an exception.

HC's Launching Event

Assalamualaikum beautiful, 

Had a great time today! I attended HC (Hijabers Community) Launching event at Pondok Indah Lestari this afternoon. The event was great, they had Tau'siyah by Teh Ninih, Performance from Ina Rovi, Fashion Show from few designers (Dian Pelangi, Ria Miranda, Irna La Perle, etc) and of course, bazaaarrrr.. Goosh, that last part (read: bazar) was the one that really into me and 'robbed' me.. huhuhu.. but Alhamdulillah I got some great stuffs from Shabby Chic by Ria Miranda and Casa Elana by Hijab Scarf. So sorry that I didn't take too many pictures on that event.
