25 Years is Quarter of a Century

Assalamualaikum Beautiful,

Alhamdulillah.. Yesterday.. On January 31st to be exact, I turned 25. Yes, 25.. wow.. quite a lot of number for age, right? or not? Well, I'm so grateful for what I've got now, at 25. Never came across my mind probably 5 years ago that I will be what I am right now at age 25. I'm married to a very handsome wonderful and very nice guy, have a business that insyaAllah improving day by day, a post graduated student, subhanallah.. As far as I remember, 5 years ago.. I thought, 25 was my target age to get married.. But apparently, Allah have other plans.. a better and more beautiful plan.. Alhamdulillah..

Of course, at this age.. I have wishes for myself.. to be a better person, sholehah wife, good daughter and daughter-in-law and the most important is I can be more istiqomah and never stop digging and learning about Islam to enrich my love to Allah SWT and Rasulullah SAW. Aamiin..

And on my birthday this year.. I'm so happy because I'm surrounded by people that I love.. My husband, my family and friends.. My husband gave me so many surprises to make me the happiest woman that day. First, he gave me a very special birthday present(s).. A handbag, because he knew that my most favorite handbag have already torn at certain places.. He bought a frozen yogurt birthday cake, yummyy.. aanndd, he surprised me by giving me a ticket for our short trip to Surabaya. Aaaa happyyyy! Superrr sweet.. Since we really want to go to Surabaya..

He and my friends from Bloggers Married also gave me another surprise by coming so sudden while me and hubby had our lunch and a restaurant. WOW! it was epic.. since they came to that resto and sang birthday song so loud with light up cake that they brought.. I got my jaws drop, eyes pop, and freeze for couple minutes.. My eyes a bit wet, but tears didn't drop.. :) Apparently it was planned by them co-operating with my hubby. Sooo happy..

Karaoke on Kara's Day

Oh my God, its been a while yaa.. I'm not posting anything in my blog.. hiks.. So sorry.. I guess its not my first time apologizing because of this.. But now, I'd like to share about Kara's birthday.. yes, Kara's bday was in January 16th.. and we had a plan to went out together and karaoke-ing... So we went to Gandaria City and had lunch before we sing (biar kuat!). And so, after had our lunch... we went to karaoke studio which located still in Gandaria City and we had 2 hours singing! yeahhh.. It was fun.. really fun.. hehe.. thanks Kara for the treat.. :) and Happy Birthday!!

After we sing, we just found out that the karaoke studio provides fun accessories that can be borrowed during karaoke-ing.. Better late than never, so we decide to put on those accessories and took pictures after all.. hehehe..

Colorful December

Assalamualaikum Beautiful,

As we all know, its December.. and it almost end in 2 more weeks, more or less.. Me, personally.. This December is a very colorful month for me.. So many feelings that I felt through out this month.. Proud, happy, disappointed, healthy, sick, up and down and many more.. Well maybe it happens oftenly in other months, but not for me.. this month is soo special.. I had my graduation ceremony, my hubby also graduated from his post grad program here in Malaysia, me and hubby should pack our goods to leave Malaysia for good and get back to Indonesia (sad), our family will have holiday here in Malaysia before we move back to Indonesia (happy), me and hubby went to Penang which makes our bond even stronger.. Well, December.. you're so special.. You make me stare at you (calendar) so many times, either being excited or nervous.. hihihi.. Pffttt..

And anyway, my clothing line Such! is participating in a bazaar event called "Green Bazaar" at EX Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta. The bazaar is held from 18th - 31st December 2011, 10 am - 10 pm.. Another special occasion in December.. A little bit sad that I can't be there most of the times, but insyaAllah I will be there on the last day of the bazaar.. which is on Dec, 31st.. Please visit if you have time.. :)

I always ask my hubby's opinion towards every promotion tools' designs that I made.. And he always give me such an out of box suggestion but it turns out to be better and great.. This poster used to be colored gray for the background...

Hubby: "Hmm.. Change the background into brown.."

Me: "Hehh? Brown?? Will it be good?"

Hubby: "Just try.."

Me: (found the perfect yellowish brown) "PERFECT!"

Simple Answer

One day I asked my friends, "How to be a more positive and sincere person when we heard something unpleasant for us?". You know, we often talking to ourselves about something that might worrying us, or bring negative thoughts to us.. and I really want to eliminate that attitude in me. And one of my friend answered my question with simple answer, "Dzikir aja Ci.." It was a simple answer but it really works for me. Everytime I start to think negatively about anything, I start to dzikir inside my heart and it automatically switch that negative thought into more positive.. subhanallah.. it works.. Thanks dearest Fitri for such meaningful answer.. :) 

Enjoy Our Moment

Recently, I learned to be more sincere, whole-hearted and more open minded about my life. Yes I've been married for 1 year now, and yes.. I still haven't pregnant, yet. And yes, I'm chubbier.. not because I'm preggie but yeaahhh, just say that I'm happy (I guess that's the most entertaining excuse for me, ahaha). But no, seriously I'm happy, very happy with my life now. I've reached (or at least about to) many things that I dreamed on.. I have wonderful husband, beautiful family, little business that hopefully someday will be big and successful (aamiin), I succeed finishing my study, surrounded by so many friends.. Alhamdulillah.. Allah gave me more than I ever expected.. But why He haven't trusted me a baby? This thought used to bother me so many times, even almost everytime.. Seeing my other friends who married later than me and have pregnant earlier than me used to make me wonder, why why why not me? When is my time?

Well, all those questions better be kept to myself and be stop! I realize that, instead of complaining, stressing out, wondering, etc, etc.. Its better for me to be more sincere (Ikhlas), patient (sabar) and relax (tenang)..and believe that the time will come, Allah knows best! 100% even 10.000.000.000.000 %! I'm sure.. Keep husnudzon to Allah SWT, ikhtiar, ikhlas, patient and enjoy! Allah know when is the best time for me and hubby for having babiessss.. :) Whenever it is, insyaAllah we're ready..

While waiting for that "rizqi" to come, me and hubby enjoying our moment together.. We spend most of our time together, do a lot of fun things together, and recently we went Ice skating together.. ahahaha.. It was my second time skating on the ice after probably 10 years ago! I thought skating would be easy, as easy as roller blade.. but apparently its NOT! Oh my God, I fell down so many times.. I got my pants all wet, got my knees bruised, blahh.. but it was fun, though.. really fun.. But I don't think I'm gonna do that again.. hehehehe..

TIPS: Don't wear bright color pants while ice skating. Because when you fell down, your wet pants will be obviously showed! Unless, don't fell.. hehehe

And I also found this interesting marketing strategy done my Acer.. They place a girl (real girl) in a glass tube.. And that girl just stand there like a statue.. Creepy but interesting.. Should Such! do the same thing for marketing strategy? ahahaha.. Not applicable, I guess..

I wonder what if this girl have "natural calls".. or if she has her face itch and she can't scratch?

Another blogger meeting..? Nope actually, its just a girl hang out... but apparently we're all blogger and we know each other through blog... Actually it was the continuation from our previous hang out.. And now, the hang out thing is even more fun! hehehe.. I started to be open up and not too shy like prior meet.. Unfortunately only me, Kara, Fika and Romiy that can make it to meet. The other has another plan to do that day.. huhu.. My Graduation Day

Assalamualaikum Beautiful,

I had my graduation ceremony on Dec, 8th.. It was in Ritz Carlton Hotel, Pacific Place Jakarta.. A day that I've been waiting for since 2 years ago.. The ending of my master degree study but the beginning of me with this title.. Well, just like my bachelor graduation ceremony.. We didn't take too many pictures, and I don't know why.. My hubby and dad bring their pocket cameras.. But when I got home and check their cameras, I only found 2-3 photos in each camera.. Zzzz.. Well, maybe we're overwhelmed by the joyous and solemn ceremony..

And with this post, which hopefully everlasting post.. First of all, I'd like to thank Allah SWT for all of the undescribed blessings You've given me..I'd like to thank my parents who have been so supportive and patient in encouraging me to finish my study without pushing me too hard (even at all), thanks to my beloved husband who always be there for me as my strongest power system to keep me on track and inspired, thanks to my parents-in-law for the support and love, my sisters and brothers for always asking how far had I go with my thesis, last but not least.. thanks to Mira.. my dearest friend who have pushed the button of my spirit and switch it from OFF to ON MODE.. Thanks all.. I won't go this far without you..

Its quite simple, just like my other make up that I usually done.. I only add fake lashes to make my eyes even more pop.. And I wear fuchsia lipstick from YSL..

This kebaya, I designed myself.. I was confused with what color that I want for my kebaya.. But I know that I want to wear something in shocking colors.. And it has to be fuchsia.. But I don't want to wear all fuchsia for my kebaya, I want it to be just the element of it.. And yup, I decide to go with tosca green with fuchsia obi belt. I use 3 different fabrics for this kebaya, they are lace (brokat) for the front-top section, satin for the layer inside the lace, chiffon for the hand and obi, and Thai silk for the skirt.

Visit INACRAFT Malaysia

Yesterday I went to KLCC to visit INACRAFT in Malaysia. It is an exhibition of the largest quality design of Indonesian handycraft. The exhibition held on November 19 - 22, 2011 in Hall 5 KLCC, Malaysia. Well, the exhibition was under my expectation though. But after all, I love being there. Reminds me of my country, the music, the handycraft even the smell. I didn't take too many picture while I was there, because the place was a bit quiet, and.. hmm empty.. hehe.. so I was just looking around.. and around..

We're Blogger, and We're Married!

yesterday, I got the chance to meet famous muslimah blogger whose also my friends in blogging world. It was my first time meet all of them but Siti. I met Kara, Ola, Fitri, Fika, Siti and Romiy (her blog is coming soon). I really enjoy our meeting yesterday, even though we haven't met each other closely before, but we bond quite quick, hehehe.. Our bonding mostly caused by our conversation about marriage life, well newly weds life! All things fun to share, full of knowledge, lalalala.. FYI, we're all married but one, Siti hasn't married yet, but I hope soon yaa.. ;) I'd like to share pictures from our meeting yesterday.. As always, we took so many pictures, moreover Siti is a very very very good photographer and her camera turns us to be great looking.. hehehe.. we also do the photobooth thingy.. It was fun, for sure..

and since it was my first time meeting all of them but Siti, I really want to share my testimony about each of them..

With Fika

Actually it wasn't first time I met Fika, we've met in HC launching event. But we didn't talk that much, just say hi and chit chat a bit. And yesterday, I got the chance to know more about her. Aaaa I adore her, she's so humble.. smiling a lot.. she's the ice breaker in every awkward moment.. hehehe.. She's so nice, mature, and of course.. Beautiful.. even more beautiful in person.

With Siti

Meeting Siti yesterday was not my first time. But I will also give testimony about Siti anyway. Siti always looks stunning in every picture, right? But in the real life.. she's such an innocent girl that spoke sooo quietly, not much facial expression, kalo kata Kara "planga plongo" heuhehehe *piss Sitii.. But I always like her, her style, her personality, her SKILL of photography and making artworks. Aaahh, Siti is creativity booster. And hopefully she'll be married soon, to make it more official.

With Fitri

 Woohoo.. This is the most unexpected one. Fitrii.. I know her from her blog, and then we exchange Blackberry pin, follow each other's twitter and we're getting close through those media. All I know, so far she's soo wise, calm, "keibuan", serius, lalalala.. But when I met her, wohoo.. she's very outspoken and gokil! you know gokil? Gokil issss.. ya gokil lah.. asikk.. heuhehehe.. Beyond expectation.. Seruu deh ngobrol-ngobrol ama Fitri.. obrolannya juga yang diluar nalar.. ahahaha.. she's incredibly nice, and such a figure of good wife. I can tell.

with Romiy

Romiy, came later than all of us. But some sayin that better late than never, right? She hasn't created a blog yet, but soon. We kept encouraging her to create a blog, again to make it more official.. hehehe.. Romiy is so funny, sweet and also humble. Although I only met her quickly, but I can say that she's very nice. Besok-besok datengnya duluan ya romiiyyy..

With Ola

Naahh, Ola is one of the reason why we held this meeting. Ola is the only one who have pregnant from all of us, alhamdulillah.. Barakallah.. Subhanallah.. Rest of us who have been married and not yet pregnant really want to hear Ola's experience and "petuah" serta "wejangan" about the Dos and Don'ts.. Ola very sweet, a bit quite.. well because her pregnancy still early and like most of preggie women, she was a little bit sick. So happy for her pregnancy, hopefully everything goes well and may Allah always give her and her baby health. Aamiin.. Pray for her okayy..

Naaahhh.. Finally I met Kara! Buat yang follow twitter kita mungkin dah gerah kalo liat twit"an kita yang mau janjian ketemu tapi gak pernaahh jadi. Akhirnyaa, kemarin ketemu juga ama Kara. Heran deh, banyak yang bilang Kara itu jutek, datar, susah senyum.. Aslinya??? EMBEERRRR.. ahahahaha.. Iya, benar Kara rajut (rada jutek), datar, susah senyum.. tapi awal-awal doaaaang.. hehehe.. After mingling, chatting, laughing, lumer juga koq akhirnya kekakuan Kara.. hehehe.. She's pretty, cool abiss, asikk.. and I really looking forward for our next meeting.. :) Nice to know youu..

Overall, I loooooove them.. and we're arranging plan to have meeting every month. hihihi.. excited.. Thanks girls.. :*
